How Does AeroSeal Duct Sealing Work?
AeroSeal is an automated duct-sealing technology designed for both residential and commercial buildings. Using a patented, non-toxic aerosol sealant, the process works by pressurizing your duct system and driving sealant particles directly to the sites of leaks, sealing them from the inside out without coating the entire interior surface of the duct. Our AeroSeal Process
We follow a clear, consistent process on every job:
- Step 1: System Preparation
We begin with a professional duct cleaning, included at no additional charge, to ensure the system is ready for sealing. - Step 2: Pre-Seal Diagnostic Test
We conduct a pre-seal diagnostic test to measure how much air your duct system is currently losing. That baseline matters; it's the "before" number we'll compare against once the work is done. - Step 3: Aerosol Duc Sealing
We introduce a specialized aerosol sealant into the pressurized duct system. The microscopic particles remain suspended in the airflow until they reach leaks, where they accumulate along the edges and gradually seal many of the small gaps and cracks from the inside. - Step 4: Verified Results
Once the sealing process is complete, we run a second diagnostic test to measure your system again. You'll receive a detailed report showing the before-and-after leakage results, so you can clearly see the improvement in your duct system's performance.
