Zach came to help us with a kitchen sink backup in our condo. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He determined that the blockage was not in our line, but was in the "common line" for the building. He corrected the problem and cleared the line. Gavin Is Fabulous
Called your company for a 2nd diagnosis on a plumbing issue (called Jim Needham first). Their technician was great, but after snaking, the kitchen drain didn't work. The next option was shocking.
Got connected with your company, and you sent Gavin the same day within a couple hours.
Gavin is young but very knowledgeable. In about 1/2 hour, Gavin had snaked my line again. That attempt also didn't work. He gave a quote for the next step, which was to jet it. Same results as Needham, and the price was close but a little higher. The difference is Gavin didn't give up. He sat there deep in thought, then he said he wanted to try one more thing that he'd come across before. Can't remember what he called it, but he took off a plastic ring between top of sink and bottom of the faucet, tapped it a couple of times, which released some fine sand and pebbles, rinsed it off, reattached it, and both drains emptied. You could hear the water rushing through the pipes. He even went further to make sure I knew how to do the process if this happens again. He also enrolled me in a program with his company for free. Don't remember the details (doesn't matter).
Gavin is fabulous. He changed shoe guards each time he went out to his truck, and he did it each time. What impressed me the most about Gavin is how consistently he explained everything, he didn't give up, he is very professional, very courteous, and truly is an asset to your company. Because of Gavin, I will be a loyal customer.

Quality 1st has been great to work with from the phone call to the office this morning to the finish a few hours later. Desiree asked all of the right questions and set up an appointment right away. Holly continued to keep us advised of the status of the appointment. Gavin arrived well within the time quoted and ready to work. They were all very friendly and helpful. Gavin took the time to ask us for the details of what had occurred before the backup of the water into the basement. We advised him of what another company had found, on 2 separate trips here, which was that the drain to the sewer was clear. However, the basement flow drain, although no longer overflowing, was still not draining properly. Gavin checked the drain to the sewer, but also took the time to investigate all of the possible drain problems and found the clog in the pipe system in our crawl space. He was able to clear it and then tested it all to make sure the basement flow drain was operating as it should. In other words, he did a wonderful job and we all appreciate it!

Everyone from Quality First Plumbing was amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly! I called to get my condo kitchen sink unplugged/drained, and Shauntelle said she could get someone out there the same day. Other company services I called and have used in the past weren’t able to come out until a few weeks later, and obviously a backed-up sink needs to be fixed that day. (Of note: This is a common occurrence for older condo buildings and especially corner units; this is the 4th time since living here, and it’s not my fault and nothing I can do about it).
Excellent communication: I received an update for a time estimate of when a service person could be out there and then another call when he arrived.
Problem resolved: Chris took care of the problem of the backed-up drain and even went above and beyond by also helping me with the loose faucet handle by screwing that back on properly. He was nothing but knowledgeable and friendly and asked along the way if I had any questions.
I would highly recommend Quality First Services to anyone and would use them again (though I hope I don’t have to).
