Critters can cause problems

HVAC technicians find an amazing array of living (or deceased) things inside of outdoor central air conditioning units, and it’s never pretty. All manner of creatures can insinuate themselves into the unit, from ants, bees and earwigs to full-sized mammals like squirrels and even cats, for whom the situation is always, sadly, fatal. Central air conditioning units are designed to be closed systems, allowing only air to pass in through the filter, but animals are amazingly persistent and can chew or squeeze their way in anywhere. Animals of any kind in your unit are bound to cause problems. If your unit stops performing properly or starts making weird noises, don’t wait to call in an Allen Service  expert right away. If there’s a dead critter or live bugs inside your central air conditioning system, it can cause a general health hazard inside your Fort Collins home as well; remember, whatever’s inside your air conditioning unit can blow into your home. That particular problem would require the unit to still be functioning. The presence of a dead animal could also be a tip-off that there’s a problem elsewhere inside your Fort Collins home, because sometimes they get in by chewing their way through your indoor duct work, having gotten into the house by some other route, such as through the roof into the attic. An expert Allen Service  technician can diagnose the problem, clean out the offending beasts and get your system working cleanly and efficiently once more.
